Job description

The incumbent is expected to perform the following functions that the company has determined are essential to this position. Responsibilities include various activities in the areas of Accounting and Finance. These include daily, monthly or quarterly activities such as but not limited to:
  • Accounts payable and accounts receivable research and support
  • Daily cash & monthly bank account reconciliations
  • Month end & quarter end close activities
    • Journal entry preparation & posting
    • Account reconciliation & analysis
    • Financial reporting & analysis
  • General ledger posting and account reconciliation
  • Perform related party inter-company reconciliations, analysis and confirmations
  • Assist with quarterly review and year-end financial audit
  • Travel and entertainment expense report management and auditing
  • Reporting (internal & external)
  • Insurance & tax support
  • Kaizen improvement activities
  • Other tasks and duties, as assigned

Essential Skills and Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounting or Finance, preferably public Accounting firms
  • Communicate effectively to Aisin Management Members
  • Understand the concept of consolidation Accounting
  • Ability to understand standard Accounting systems
  • Ability to understand and be able to perform research on tax related topics
  • Proficiency in MS office
  • Ability to pay strict attention to details and complete tasks on time.
  • Excellent written and oral language skills

Beneficial Skills and Experience
  • Oracle Enterprise Business Solution experience
  • Understanding of US GAAP/IFRS

Education/Training/Certifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred

Travel Requirements
  • None to a couple of times per year
  • Must be willing and available to travel to such locations and with such frequency as is necessary and desirable to meet business needs.
