Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an ICU position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and AHA-certified credentials including ACLS, BLS, CPI, and NIHSS.

Details
  • Lower-acuity ICU setting with 6 beds and an average daily census of 6 patients
  • Typical patient ratio of 2–4 patients per nurse, with some patients being MedSurg/telemetry/stepdown acuity
  • Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
  • Every other weekend required
  • May float to MedSurg
Requirements
  • Active RN license (Standard or Compact) required
  • Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
  • Required AHA certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, and NIHSS
Additional Information
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • Candidates must reside 65+ miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
  • Upon accepting an assignment, the unit manager may assign travelers to an emergency response team, with an expectation to remain at the facility until the event passes or to serve on a relief team
  • Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed and discussed during the interview process
  • All certifications must be issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
