American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med-Surg/Stepdown position requiring 2 years of PCU/Med-Surg Telemetry acute care experience and a WI or compact RN license.

Details
  • Work in a Med-Surg/Telemetry unit within an acute care hospital setting
  • 13-week contract assignment
  • Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
  • Every other weekend and every other holiday required
  • Placement on a PCU or Med/Surg/Tele unit based on traveler's skills and unit need
  • Floating required within skill set or to sites within 40 miles as needed
  • Uses Epic EMR
Requirements
  • Active WI or compact RN license currently in hand
  • Current BLS certification (AHA)
  • Current ACLS certification (AHA)
  • Minimum 2 years of PCU/Med-Surg Telemetry acute care experience required
  • Prior travel experience required
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
Additional Information
  • Provide nursing care on a Med-Surg or Stepdown unit based on patient acuity and unit staffing needs
  • Local candidates accepted, subject to a radius rule that may affect pay rate
  • Travelers should discuss extension opportunities with their manager 45 days before assignment end date
