Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position at a Level I Trauma teaching hospital in Flagstaff, AZ, requiring at least 2 years of OR experience including general, ortho, spine, trauma, and neuro cases.

Details
  • Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
  • Weekend requirement: as needed, typically every 3rd weekend
  • No on-call requirement
  • No floating required
  • 1:1 patient ratio
  • Level I Trauma Center OR with 11 rooms and high-volume ortho, trauma, and spine cases across all specialties, with minimal pediatric cases
  • Short-term acute care hospital with 268 staffed beds
  • Charting system: Cerner
  • 13-week contract
Requirements
  • Active, unrestricted AZ RN license or valid compact RN license currently in hand
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience required
  • Experience in general, ortho, spine, trauma, and neuro (including craniotomies) required
  • Level I trauma center OR experience required; candidates with recent Level II trauma experience at a comparable or larger facility may be considered
  • 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years

  • Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained is required for consideration
