ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Phoenix, Arizona.

RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - Cardiac Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Must work 3 of 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week period
• Holiday coverage required based on unit rotation
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3-4 depending on acuity
• Must have Level 1 Trauma experience required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA)
• Must pass dysrhythmia exam prior to acceptance (2 attempts allowed)
• Must pass fail exam on day 1 of orientation
• Complete SIMs Lab for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes (pass/fail)
• Navy scrubs required
• Must have natural hair color and no facial piercings
• Men must be clean-shaven for fit testing
• Must have own vehicle for transportation
• 3-day floor-specific orientation provided
• Float to other telemetry units including T5, T6, and Neuro Tele
• Use Cerner EMR system and Philips monitors
• Must interpret EKGs independently
• Care for cardiac stepdown patients, lung transplant patients, chest pain, MI, pre-transplant, esophagectomy, ER overflow, and detox patients
• Handle non-titrating drips and work with CPAP and high flow equipment
• Cancellation policy allows up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment

This healthcare facility is a Level 1 Trauma Center featuring a 24-bed Cardiac Telemetry unit with comprehensive cardiac and medical services. The facility provides advanced cardiac care including transplant services, with 24/7 respiratory therapy and pharmacy support. The organization maintains high standards for nursing competency and sterile technique, with specialized equipment including Philips monitoring systems and access to SWAT RN support for difficult procedures.
