Prime Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Arlington, Virginia.

Job Description & Requirements

  • Shift: 12 hours, days, nights

Position: Registered Nurse โ€“ Cardiovascular Stepdown/Telemetry
Contract: 13 weeks
Start: ASAP (exact date depends on EPIC experience/training schedule)
Schedule: Rotating 4ร—12-hour shifts, days & nights
Weekend: Every other weekend

What They're Looking For

This facility needs a strong cardiac/telemetry RN who is comfortable caring for patients recovering from cardiac surgery after ICU.

Key clinical experience required:

  • Strong cardiac telemetry / CV Stepdown experience
  • Experience caring for CVSD (Cardiovascular Stepdown) patients
  • Strong understanding of cardiac dysrhythmias/arrhythmias
  • Experience managing chest tubes
  • Ability to care for post-cardiac surgery patients transitioning from ICU
  • Comfortable working with telemetry monitoring
Requirements
  • 2+ years RN experience
  • Active VA or Compact RN license in hand at submission
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • Strong CV Stepdown/Telemetry experience
  • EPIC experience preferred/important for start-date planning

13-week CV Stepdown/Telemetry travel assignment seeking a strong cardiac RN with 2+ years of experience, chest tube and dysrhythmia management, BLS/ACLS, and active VA or Compact license.
