Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse - Operating Room for a Spine/Neuro/ENT specialty at a Level 3 trauma teaching hospital, requiring at least 1 year of strong OR experience and an MN RN license.

Details
  • Operating Room unit specializing in Spine/Neuro/ENT procedures
  • 5x8 day and evening shifts with start times of 6:45am, 9am, 11am, and 2:45pm
  • Weekend shifts required as needed per department
  • On-call shifts required as needed per department
  • Floating within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital may be required
  • Block scheduling accommodations available
  • Uses Epic (Excellian) for charting
Requirements
  • Active MN RN license (pending license accepted)
  • BLS certification required
  • Minimum 1 year of recent, strong OR experience required
  • Prior travel nursing experience required
  • Epic/Excellian charting experience required
  • Community hospital experience required
  • Experience in a range of OR specialties may be needed, including vascular, orthopedic, general surgery, gynecology, urology, and robotics-assisted procedures
Additional Information
  • Level 3 trauma teaching hospital with 317 staffed beds
  • Scrubs are provided by the facility
  • Candidates must reside at least 100 miles from the facility
  • Returning staff must have been separated from perm employment for at least 3 months prior to starting
  • RTO should not exceed 5 days during the assignment
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • Reference checks are not provided by the facility for past perm employees or post-assignment travelers
