Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN OR Circulator with 2+ years of OR circulating experience and robotics experience for a 13-week assignment.

Details
  • Operating Room department within a hospital setting
  • Days shift, 4x10s, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
  • On-call responsibilities required
  • 13-week assignment duration
Requirements
  • Active FL or compact RN license required
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA or American Red Cross)
  • 2+ years of recent OR Circulator experience required
  • Robotics experience required
  • No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of assignment start
  • No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
  • Serve as a member of the surgical team, working closely with Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, and OR Technicians
  • Responsibilities include ensuring supplies are ready, maintaining timeliness of cases, communicating with patient families, updating physician preference cards, scrubbing and assisting physicians during surgical cases, and supervising personnel delivering patient care
  • Care delivered according to State Nurse Practice Act, AORN standards, and hospital/department policies
  • Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this travel position
  • RTO requests must be less than one week
  • Not eligible for candidates who have worked at this health system as permanent staff within the past 2 years
