Northrop Grumman Defense Systems Sector is seeking a Principal Property & Asset Management Analyst to join our Advanced Weapons Business Unit located in Ridgecrest, CA. This position will be an onsite position and may follow a 9/80 work schedule.

The ideal candidate will oversee, manage, and analyze activities associated with asset business systems to ensure company, customer, and US Government property located on site and at subcontractors are managed in accordance with applicable regulations and policies to achieve best value and operational excellence. Maintains property accountability records and determines condition and arranges disposal of surplus or obsolete material or equipment. Conduct internal and external property assessments and analyze results for financial and operational purposes; provide guidance on contracts and regulations pertaining to property life-cycle management; develop, recommend, and implement property management policy; and prepare periodic and special purpose reports relative to matters such as tases, leasing, insurance, facility usage, etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Contributes to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards.

  • Considered expert in field within the organization.

  • Demonstrates the skill and ability to perform complex tasks.

  • Able to communicate effectively and clearly present technical approaches and findings.

  • Develops solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and innovation.

  • Ensures solutions are consistent with organization objectives.+

  • Most assignments are complex and performed independently without appreciable direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignment.

  • Ability to support U.S. Government, customer, and NG internal audits.

  • Serves as consultant to management and special external spokesperson for the organization on major matters pertaining to its policies, plans, and objectives.

  • Acts as an advisor to senior management and customers.

Basic Qualifications

Principal Property & Asset Management Analyst (Level 3)

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution with 5 years of relevant experience or Master's Degree with 3 years of relevant experience in property (U.S. Government/DoD/Commercial) administration. We will also consider 9 years of experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.

  • Thorough knowledge of the FAR/DFARS relative to property administration.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to interface with all levels of employees and management.

  • Knowledge and proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite of Applications.

  • Ability to obtain/maintain Secret U.S. Government Security Clearance

  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

Sr. Principal Property & Asset Management Analyst (Level 4)

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution with 8 years of relevant experience or Master's Degree with 6 years of relevant experience in property (U.S. Government/DoD/Commercial) administration. We will also consider 12 years of experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.

  • Thorough knowledge of the FAR/DFARS relative to property administration.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to interface with all levels of employees and management.

  • Knowledge and proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite of Applications.

  • Ability to obtain/maintain Secret U.S. Government Security Clearance

  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

Primary Level Salary Range: $85,600.00 - $128,400.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $106,800.00 - $160,200.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
