Job Summary:
The Human Resource (HR) Coordinator at Wondr Nation plays a vital role in supporting the HR department's functions within a dynamic, remote/hybrid work environment. This role primarily supports and executes HR processes under the direction of the Executive Director of Finance and Administration and HR Generalist. Responsible for assisting with recruiting, onboarding, maintaining team member records, coordinating HR processes, and implementing new HR initiatives. The HR Coordinator helps foster a positive, inclusive company culture and ensures HR compliance across flexible working arrangements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition:
  • Support the recruitment process by posting jobs, scheduling interviews in-person and via virtual platforms, and communicating with candidates.
  • Facilitate seamless onboarding for team members (including remote, hybrid and local), including preparing digital documentation, conducting virtual and in-person orientations, and orienting new hires to Wondr Nation's culture and processes.

Employee Engagement & Culture:
  • Coordinate training, development programs, and assist with team-building activities to promote engagement.
  • Contribute to creating and maintaining a positive and inclusive organizational culture through virtual initiatives.
  • Support organizational communication efforts, ensuring clarity and transparency across remote teams.

HR Operations & Administration:
  • Maintain and update team member records, Lattice system, and confidential files, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist with the implementation and continuous improvement of HR processes and policies, including remote work protocols and communication channels.
  • Support benefits administration, including enrollment, questions, and health and wellness programs for remote/hybrid staff.
  • Support compliance with federal, state, Tribal, and gaming regulatory HR requirements.
  • Assist with performance management processes, tracking reviews, and facilitating goal setting.
  • Respond to team member inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and work guidelines.
  • Assist with audits, documentation tracking, and policy adherence.

Reporting & Analytics:
  • Prepare HR reports and dashboards, tracking key metrics related to remote/hybrid workforce engagement.

Special Projects & Process Improvement:
  • Assist with special projects related to HR technology, process automation, and best practices for remote/hybrid work environments.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • 2-4 years of experience in HR operations, recruiting coordination, or HR administration.
  • Experience supporting remote or hybrid teams preferred.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and performance management tools (e.g., Lattice) required.
  • Experience in online gaming industry preferred.
