While on assignment, you’ll typically work as part of a crew, collaborating closely with other linemen, foremen, and utility supervisors to restore or maintain electrical infrastructure.
What is a travel lineman?
A Travel Lineman is a skilled electrical worker who installs, repairs, and maintains power lines while frequently traveling to different locations. Adaptability, excellent teamwork, and strong problem-solving skills help linemen excel, especially when frequently working in unfamiliar locations. These skills are critical to perform challenging, often hazardous duties safely and efficiently while collaborating effectively with utility crews in diverse environments.
