Travel Cath Lab Tech jobs in Williamsburg, VA let you use your RCIS or RTR certification and VA license to scrub invasive cardiology procedures, including diagnostic caths, complex PCI with impella insertion, pacemaker, and EP ablation cases. You will work 8-hour days, 40 hours a week, with on-call one day a week and every other weekend for a 13-week contract. Experience scrubbing procedures from diagnostic to PCI is required, and familiarity with impella procedures and STEMI calls is expected. Responsibilities include preparing patients, maintaining sterile technique, assisting with procedures, monitoring patient status, and documenting care1. Required Qualifications
Vascular Interventional Technologist, Vascular OR Cath Lab Technologist, Cath Lab Experience: 2 years REQUIRED SKILLS:
โ€ข RCIS with over two years of experience
โ€ข Experience scrubbing invasive cardiology procedures ranging from diagnostic caths to complex pci with impella insertion.
โ€ข Experience scrubbing pacemakers and EP ablations desired.
โ€ข The tech needs to have a great deal of experience scrubbing procedures ranging from diagnostic to pci. We perform impella procedures fairly often in conjunction with stemi calls.
