Job description

GHG Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Richmond, Virginia.

Opportunity:

RN - Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work in an interventional cardiac cath lab environment with 3 cath lab rooms
• Day shift position with a mix of RNs and cardiovascular technologists on staff
• Staff ratio of 3 staff members per room with 10-11 staff per day
• On-call required some weekends and weekdays
• Must be able to report to hospital within 30 minutes of call-back
• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations
• Assist with Impella, balloon-pump procedures
• Handle peripheral cases and complex PCIs
• Assist with occasional device procedures
• Work with GE X-ray/MacLab equipment and Meditech EMR system
• Experience working in an interventional cardiac cath lab required
• Experience working in a high-volume lab handling complex cases preferred
• Required certifications: RN, RCIS, or RT
• Light blue scrubs required (provided by hospital)
• No floating to other units required
• Must demonstrate professionalism and maintain strong attendance

This facility is a well-established hospital featuring a state-of-the-art cardiac catheterization lab equipped with modern GE X-ray and MacLab technology. The cath lab operates with a dedicated team of RNs and cardiovascular technologists and handles a high volume of complex cardiac cases. The unit is located on the 3rd floor of the Levinson Building and maintains a fast-paced, professional environment focused on delivering exceptional cardiac care.
