Marketing Coordinator 

Focus: Events & Marketing Operations 

Department: Marketing 
Reports To: Marketing Operations Manager 
FLSA Status: Exempt 

Position Summary 

Construction Resources is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to support the execution of marketing programs with a primary focus on Events & Marketing Operations. This role is responsible for coordinating event logistics, managing attendee communications and RSVP processes, supporting marketing operations, and ensuring successful execution of marketing initiatives across multiple markets and business units. 

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys managing multiple projects simultaneously, and is passionate about creating outstanding experiences for customers, partners, and internal stakeholders. 

This position resides within the Marketing Department and works closely with marketing leadership, sales teams, vendor partners, and business stakeholders to support company growth and engagement initiatives. 

Essential Responsibilities 

Event Planning & Coordination 

  • Coordinate planning and execution of customer events, trade shows, grand openings, educational programs, networking events, sales meetings, and internal company events. 
  • Develop and maintain event timelines, project plans, and execution checklists. 
  • Coordinate event logistics including venues, catering, signage, shipping, promotional items, materials, and vendor management. 
  • Support onsite event execution, setup, registration, and post-event breakdown activities. 
  • Assist with travel coordination and related event logistics when required. 

RSVP & Attendee Management 

  • Manage invitation lists, registration platforms, and RSVP tracking. 
  • Coordinate attendee communications before, during, and after events. 
  • Maintain accurate guest lists and attendance records. 
  • Support survey distribution and attendee feedback collection. 

Event Reporting & Follow-Up 

  • Track attendance, engagement, and event performance metrics. 
  • Assist with event budget tracking and expense reconciliation. 
  • Prepare event recaps and post-event reporting. 
  • Maintain event documentation and reporting records for future planning and continuous improvement. 

Marketing Operations Support 

  • Support the Marketing Operations Manager with project coordination and administrative functions. 
  • Assist with marketing project tracking, workflow management, and departmental organization. 
  • Coordinate vendor communications, invoices, and marketing-related documentation. 
  • Support management of marketing inventories, collateral, promotional items, and fulfillment requests. 
  • Maintain marketing calendars, schedules, and departmental resources. 

Marketing Program Support 

  • Assist with execution of local and regional marketing initiatives. 
  • Coordinate production and distribution of marketing materials and branded assets. 
  • Support customer engagement programs, brand activations, and promotional campaigns. 
  • Help ensure marketing initiatives are delivered consistently and aligned with company brand standards. 

Additional Responsibilities 

  • Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned. 
  • Support cross-functional marketing efforts across the organization. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support departmental goals. 

Qualifications 

Required 

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Event Management, Hospitality, or related field. 
  • 2-3 years of professional experience in marketing, event coordination, marketing operations, project management, hospitality, or a related field. 
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating multiple projects, events, and deadlines simultaneously. 
  • Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills. 
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. 
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to follow-through. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams. 
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. 

Preferred 

  • Experience supporting customer events, trade shows, grand openings, or experiential marketing programs. 
  • Familiarity with CRM, email marketing, event registration, or project management platforms. 
  • Experience coordinating vendors, budgets, and event reporting. 

Work Environment & Schedule 

  • Position is based within the Marketing Department. 
  • Flexible work hours required based on event schedules and business needs. 
  • Occasional evening and weekend work required. 
  • Limited travel may be required to support company events, market activations, and business initiatives.
