Del Sol Medical Center is seeking a full time or part time trauma surgeon board certified or board eligible in surgical critical care for a Level II trauma hospital. Qualified candidates: • Board certified in general surgery and board certified/board eligible in surgical critical care • New graduates welcome to apply • Eligible for license to practice in the state of Texas • ATLS certified required • Full time 15 shifts per month primary in-house coverage, (7A-7P or 7P-7A) • Part time 5-10 shifts per month primary in-house coverage, (7A-7P or 7P-7A) • APP support provided • 2022 Registry Volume 2268, Trauma Admissions 1366, Blunt 93%, Penetrating 6%. • Avg. 3.8 trauma alerts per day Incentive/Benefits Package: • Competitive salary • Comprehensive benefits package including 401k • CME and dues allowance • Relocation assistance • No state income tax
