Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to comprehensively understand clients’ needs and strengths, forming the basis for effective treatment plans.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based interventions that promote client well-being and resilience.
• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards in social work practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position primarily focuses on individuals within a hospice care environment, including patients dealing with life-limiting illnesses, trauma, anxiety, and depression. Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited educational institution, ensuring a strong theoretical foundation in social work practice.
• Possession of a valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of Virginia, demonstrating the necessary credentials to practice professionally.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in social work, preferably in a mental health or hospice-related setting.
