Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments that encompass psychosocial evaluations, diagnostic interviews, and risk assessments to understand each client’s unique situation.
  • Work collaboratively with clients to tailor individualized treatment plans that address their specific needs, integrating cultural considerations to ensure sensitivity and relevance.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including CBT, DBT, and solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT), in a variety of formats such as individual, couple, family, and group settings.
  • Provide crisis intervention services, connecting with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care for clients facing acute distress.
  • Maintain meticulous clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries that comply with clinic policies and regulatory standards.
  • Empower clients and their families through psychoeducation, equipping them with essential knowledge and practical skills to navigate their mental health journeys.
  • Engage in collaborative efforts with a diverse multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and case managers, to coordinate comprehensive client care.
  • Conduct ongoing outcome assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of treatment and make necessary adjustments to clients’ plans to maximize positive outcomes.
  • Stay abreast of current research, best practices, and trends in mental health, incorporating this knowledge into clinical practice to enhance therapeutic effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus
