Inside Access Psychotherapy Services is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. This remote therapist position is supported by a collaborative team dedicated to providing trauma-informed care via telehealth platforms. You will have the opportunity to work from the comfort of your home, contributing to patient care while using advanced electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage documentation and treatment plans. Although your primary interaction with patients will be virtual, you will still have access to regular team meetings and professional development opportunities that foster a strong sense of community among colleagues.

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient's history and identify tailored treatment approaches.
• Design, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans aiming for trauma recovery and resilience-building.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, assisting patients in processing their trauma while building coping strategies for real-world challenges.
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive, integrated care for every patient.
• Provide timely crisis intervention to patients in trauma-related emergencies, employing a calm and thoughtful approach to mitigate distress.
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, adaptive coping mechanisms, and available resources to assist in their recovery.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of therapy sessions and treatment progress, adhering to legal and ethical standards of practice.
• Engage in regular case consultations and participate in team meetings focused on improvement in trauma-informed care practices.
• Research and stay current with the latest studies and innovations in trauma therapy to enhance the quality of therapeutic interventions.

Our ideal candidates are passionate about serving individuals who have experienced significant trauma. You will work predominantly with adults dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders, focusing on equipping them with tools for healing and resilience. Your ability to empathize and provide compassionate care is essential to fostering a therapeutic environment where patients feel understood and supported.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.
• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to patient care.
• Proficient in electronic health record systems and adept at using technology in therapeutic settings.
• A collaborative spirit and the ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting focused on trauma therapy, although new professionals with strong skills will be considered.
• Demonstrated experience utilizing trauma-focused therapies and interventions, showcasing a track record of positive patient outcomes.
• A familiarity with co-occurring disorders and a holistic approach to mental health treatment.
