Job description

Job Opportunity: Weekend Diagnostic Radiologist

Our organization is actively looking for a dedicated Diagnostic Radiologist to join our team on a weekend-only basis within the Department of Radiology. This ongoing position focuses on delivering exceptional body imaging and emergency radiology services during weekends.

Position Overview

This role is fully integrated into our department, providing:

  • Consistent Weekend Schedule: Defined coverage from Friday to Sunday.
  • Productivity Expectations: Approximately 400 – 450 wRVUs each weekend.
  • Academic Environment: Opportunity to work in a major academic medical center with Level 1 trauma volume.
  • Collaborative Atmosphere: Access to subspecialty support.
  • Remote Work: Flexibility to work from home.
Qualifications
  • MD or DO degree.
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Diagnostic Radiology.
  • Preferred fellowship training in Body Imaging, ER/Trauma Radiology, or a related field.
  • Valid California medical license.

Compensation & Benefits

The starting base compensation for this position ranges from $600,000 to $650,000, adjusted based on experience and faculty rank. This figure does not include variable compensation or additional productivity incentives, which will be discussed during the recruitment process.
