3x12's, Saturday, Sunday, rotating weekdays, no call; 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
Job Description
The CT Scan Technologist under the supervision of the CT Supervisor, is responsible for producing diagnostic CT scans, assisting the radiologist in diagnostic procedures, and ensuring patient care while aligning with the mission and vision of the healthcare system. This role requires proficiency in using hospital and departmental computer systems, in-house CT scanning technologies, and contrast injecting equipment. The incumbent will work closely with ER, in-patients, and outpatients, prioritizing patient care and managing daily workflow effectively.
Responsibilities
  • Produce diagnostic CT scans and assist radiologists in procedures.
  • Ensure optimal patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Maintain current CPR certification and complete mandatory in-services.
  • Administer IV contrast materials under the direction of the radiologist.
  • Coordinate daily workflow and support the throughput of patients.
  • Stay current with advancements in CT imaging and patient care standards.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Minimum of two years of clinical experience in imaging, with trauma experience preferred.
  • Active American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography and Computed Tomography (CT).
  • State of Nevada license for Medical Radiography.
  • AHA BLS certification required within 60 days of hire.
