Job description

Become a vital part of a hospital team in Reno, NV as an experienced CT Technologist. You will perform diagnostic CT scans, assist radiologists during procedures, administer IV contrast under direction, operate CT scanners and contrast injectors, and ensure patient care and throughput for ER, inpatient, and outpatient populations. You will work with trauma, stroke, and advanced imaging protocols and maintain departmental quality control and documentation.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum two years of clinical CT technologist experience in a hospital or similar acute care setting.
  • Experience in trauma imaging required.
  • Travel assignment experience preferred.
  • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification with CT credential (AART(CT)).
  • State of Nevada license for Medical Radiography.
  • AHA BLS certification required within 60 days of hire.
  • Proficiency with in-house CT scanning and contrast injecting equipment and hospital imaging information systems.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience coordinating CT department workflow and prioritizing emergency and inpatient studies.
  • Familiarity with CT quality control procedures and advanced imaging protocols for stroke and vascular emergencies.


Assignment Details

  • Shift: Friday through Sunday, 1800-0630.
  • Weekly guaranteed hours: 36.
  • No on-call requirement.
  • May be required to float to other locations within the organization up to competency level.
  • May be required to work major holidays and pick up one additional shift during the schedule period.
