The Green Markets team provides critical data and insight on the reinforced concrete industry including current product prices, local market reports, and macro analysis of rebar, cement, concrete and aggregates markets. By creating market transparency, Green Markets enables market professionals to make more informed decisions.
Our team has an exciting opportunity for a US Construction Materials Pricing Analyst. Green Markets' analysts are industry renowned for their subject matter expertise and superior market research. Your focus areas are US rebar, aggregates, cement and ready-mix concrete.
We'll trust you to:
  • Continually develop and manage a network of industry participants representing buyers and sellers of rebar, aggregates, cement and ready-mix concrete.
  • Regularly engage with and gather data from market participants to develop proprietary rebar, aggregates, cement and ready-mix concrete price assessments for key regional markets.
  • Source market sentiment information, react to feedback from clients and company stakeholders, and manage ad-hoc projects that are part of the overall product strategy.
  • Uncover market trends and developments and synthesize this information to develop proprietary intelligence for use by a variety of market constituents.
  • Develop high quality written market analysis on a weekly basis and contribute to regular communications of significant market events.
  • Utilize industry and market knowledge to play a central part in product marketing and sales.
  • Serve as back-up analyst in related markets during periods of staffing shortages.

You'll need to have:
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in analyzing, buying or selling construction materials or previous price reporting experience. Exposure to aggregate markets is a plus.

  • Analytical and information gathering skills combined with the ability to develop conclusions on market pricing trends.

Salary Range = 30 - 45 USD Hourly
The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
