SAP Solution Architect (Transportation Management โ€“ Function role)

โ€ข Participates in developing functional requirements, testing, training, and implementing Applications.

โ€ข Conducts business process analyses, needs assessments and preliminary cost/benefits analysis in an effort to align information technology with business objectives.

โ€ข Facilitates the implementation and support of SAP modules to enhance the clientsโ€™ business functionality and overall performance, while maintaining a high degree of customer satisfaction.

โ€ข Implement and configure SAP Transportation.

Qualifications--

โ€ข - BS in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent preferred

โ€ข - 5+ years of experience with TM 9.3 or above.

โ€ข Overall, 5+ yrs of SAP Functional experience in SAP logistics.

Experience in following functions :ย 

1. Transportation Networkย 

2. Freight Unit Building Rule (FUBR)ย 

3. Freight unit Order Tendering and Carrier Determination.ย 

4. CIF-Integration Models Definition, Configuration and Error Remediation

5. Transportation Charge Management Configuration.ย 

6. Should be knowledgeable in SAP TM Master Data Management Product, Business Partner, Dangerous goods, Transportation network (locations, routes, and zones) Resources (Vehicles, trailers, Handing units).

7. Order Management integration with SAP TMย 

8. Planning - Selection Profiles and Planning Profiles, conditions Optimizer Planning, Schedules, Freight Execution Carrier selection and Tendering.

9. SAP TM business process: Inbound and outbound Shipments (Domestic and International) Transportation Load Builder (FTL, LTL Package Builder (Mix Product packing and Layer building)

10. Shipper scenario with all modes of transport Road, ocean, Rail and Ocean. Ocean Air Freight Order Transpiration Planning (Freight Units, Freight proposal and Freight Orders)

11. Transportation Execution (Carrier Selection, Tendering, Delivery and Shipment proposals)

12. Freight Settlement (Charge Management, Charge Calculations, Freight Settlement) and cost distribution.

โ€ข Experience in a full project lifecycle highly desired.ย 

โ€ข Knowledge of RFCโ€™s, BAPIโ€™s, BADIโ€™s, BDCโ€™s, User Exits, and enhancement points.

โ€ข Knowledge in TM Queue processing.ย 

โ€ข Strong knowledge of outbound/inbound ABAP interfaces using IDOCs, BAPIs, RFCs to/from Middleware, and flat files.

โ€ข Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate at different levels within the organization.

โ€ข SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) integration and configuration experience highly desired

โ€ข SAP ERP Central Component (ECC) cross-module experience highly desired (MM, PM)
