Job Summary: The Transportation Floor Manager is responsible for supporting daily transportation operations while taking ownership of key areas including safety, driver accountability, fleet coordination, and system-based performance monitoring. This role plays a critical part in stabilizing operations, improving performance, and driving consistency across the transportation function.

What you’ll do in your role:

  • Support daily transportation operations, including dispatch coordination, route adjustments, and driver communication
  • Monitor delivery performance and resolve operational disruptions, delays, and service issues in real time
  • Partner cross-functionally with warehouse and fulfillment teams to ensure smooth transportation execution
  • Utilize transportation and warehouse management systems including Samsara, Roadnet/Omnitracs, AGI, and Ceres to support operations and reporting
  • Analyze operational and system data to identify trends, improve efficiency, and support decision-making
  • Support transportation safety initiatives through driver coaching, ride-alongs, training, and compliance reinforcement
  • Monitor and support adherence to DOT regulations, company policies, and transportation safety standards
  • Coordinate fleet maintenance, inspections, and repair scheduling to ensure vehicle readiness and operational reliability
  • Track key performance metrics including on-time delivery, route efficiency, safety performance, and service levels
  • Support driver onboarding, communication, and performance management while promoting a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement

What you’ll need to be successful in this role:

  • 3–6 years of experience in operations, logistics, transportation, or a related field
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities in fast-paced environments
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to support internal teams and external partners
  • Experience in transportation, fleet, or logistics operations preferred
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations, transportation safety practices, and compliance standards preferred
  • Experience using transportation, fleet management, and warehouse management systems such as Samsara, Omnitracs, Roadnet, AGI, or Ceres preferred
  • Supervisory, coaching, or team leadership experience preferred
  • Strong sense of accountability, ownership, and operational responsibility

The salary range for this position is $65,172-$88,175. The final rate may be influenced by factors such as the position's scope and responsibilities, work experience, training, job-related skills, internal equity, and market conditions.
