Role description:
Arcadis is seeking a Senior Transportation Principal Project Manager to help drive our dynamic and fast-growing Mobility team in Louisiana. This is a hybrid position, blending the flexibility of remote work with the energy and connection of in-office collaboration. In this influential role, you'll partner with seasoned transportation professionals, delivering high-impact projects across a diverse range of clients and funding sources. Plus, you'll have opportunities to collaborate with Arcadis teams outside Louisiana, broadening your network, building client relationships, and developing new business as you oversee the successful delivery of marquee transportation projects.
Role accountabilities:
  • Lead and manage transformative transportation design projects-from roundabouts and traffic signals to bridges, highways, and interchanges-with an unwavering commitment to quality and innovation.
  • Own the full client experience, engaging directly at every stage of project pursuit, development, and delivery.
  • Guide all phases of complex projects, setting direction, ensuring alignment, and driving results across multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Mentor and empower project teams, ensuring assignments are completed with technical excellence and collaborative spirit.
  • Develop project scopes and budgets, interface with clients, and build robust project plans and schedules that drive success.
  • Expand your impact by supporting and leading initiatives with other Arcadis offices, sharing best practices, and growing your professional network.

Qualifications & Experience:
  • 20+ years of progressive highway design or project management experience, with deep expertise in LADOTD standards and procedures.

  • Proven success leading and inspiring multi-disciplinary teams.
