B&N Project Manager / Roadway Engineer Responsibilities:
  • Lead transportation projects for ODOT and local agencies, building on existing relationships and developing new partnerships throughout Ohio
  • Champion quality and technical excellence; facilitate project reviews and ensure designs align with ODOT and local agency standards and preferences
  • Drive project success; lead design teams and proactively manage scope, schedule, budget, and risk
  • Take ownership of deliverables; ensure high-quality work products that reflect B&N's commitment to excellence
  • Mentor and develop emerging engineers and collaborate with Operations Leaders, Project Managers, and technical experts across the firm to strengthen our team
  • Help grow the practice, support proposal development, participate in client engagement efforts, and contribute to strategic pursuits with state and local agencies

Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited engineering program
  • PE registration is required
  • 8+ years of related civil transportation experience.
  • Demonstrated experience leading roadway design tasks or serving as the roadway design lead on transportation projects
  • Familiarity with proposal development and client relationship management efforts. Existing relationships with ODOT or Ohio local agencies a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, experience using Bentley OpenRoads and/or Autodesk Civil 3D a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-directed, adaptable professional with the ability to effectively utilize virtual collaboration platforms
