This role involves
  • Overseeing civil design projects
  • Identifying new business opportunities in roadway and highway projects
  • Coordinating and participating in project presentations to clients and external groups
  • Promoting the firm's capabilities by marketing its services to both existing and prospective clients.

Responsibilities include
  • Participating in the evaluation of project opportunities, selecting consultants, and preparing the firm's qualification and experience statements.
  • Coordinating and participating in contract negotiations with clients and subcontractors, as well as drafting complex professional service agreements and addenda for review by senior management.
  • Executing transportation projects involves leading engineering design, coordinating with design staff on project components, engaging with clients, and managing project tasks. The role entails scheduling and coordinating project meetings with the project team, regulatory agencies, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Managing project production by tracking manhours, costs, and expenses, while communicating project progress and status to senior management.

What will you bring to the table?
  • B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering in Engineering and 7-75 years of experience.
    PE License
  • Must have highway/roadway design and project management experience.
  • Knowledge of Schematic and/or PS&E processes is essential.
  • Excellent technical and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong project financial management and team management skills.
  • Strong technical writing and communications skills.
