Job description

The Independent Aftermarket (IAM) Transportation Manager will oversee transportation strategy, execution, and service optimization for Mopar's growing Independent Aftermarket business segment. This role is essential to strengthening Mopar's partnerships with independent retailers.
The manager will lead projects that expand delivery capabilities, enhance dealer and customer satisfaction, and introduce shared logistics models that align with Mopar's cost, speed, and reliability standards.
  • Provide dedicated focus on a market segment that now represents a multi-million-dollar revenue stream and continues to grow faster than traditional dealer sales.
  • Ensure competitive delivery speed and service consistency demanded by IAM retail partners like Advance Auto.
  • Support new logistics models such as shared and gig delivery, requiring specialized oversight and compliance management not covered by existing roles.
  • Expand field visibility and performance reporting for IAM network operations to maintain brand reputation and customer satisfaction.
  • Free up existing transportation leaders to focus on core dealer distribution while assigning this role to drive aftermarket-specific innovation and accountability

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in transportation, logistics, or distribution.
  • Demonstrated track record of improving delivery performance and optimizing logistics networks.
  • Experience with third-party carriers, gig or crowdsourced delivery models, and KPI-driven performance management.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Willingness to travel for field audits and retailer visits (up to 25%)
