What is a transportation management trainee?

Transportation Management Trainees are entry-level professionals who learn the skills necessary to oversee and coordinate the movement of goods within supply chains. They typically participate in structured training programs within logistics or transportation companies, gaining hands-on experience in areas such as fleet operations, routing, regulatory compliance, and customer service. The goal is to prepare them for management roles by exposing them to various aspects of transportation management, including interacting with drivers, planning shipments, and using logistics software.
