In this role, you will be at the forefront of developing predictive machine learning models, directly influencing customer retention for our SketchUp product and shaping the future of how we understand and engage with our global user base.

Key Exciting Responsibilities

  • Design and deploy sophisticated ML models, such as XGBoost and logistic regression, to proactively identify and mitigate churn risk.

  • Translate complex model outputs into business-friendly insights that drive targeted go-to-market retention strategies.

  • Engineer impactful features from raw customer data to develop advanced metrics for tracking global engagement and activity.

  • Architect automated processes and algorithms to cleanse and integrate massive datasets for high-level customer segmentation and model training.

  • Optimize churn prediction performance using advanced metrics like AUC and lift to ensure maximum business impact.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of expertise in data science or engineering, specifically building and deploying predictive machine learning models.

  • Proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation and algorithm development.

  • Strong grasp of data engineering concepts including data lakes, ETL tools, and columnar formats.

  • Experience in statistical modeling for churn analysis, customer segmentation, and cohort analysis.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or Engineering (Master's or Ph.D. preferred).

Bonus Points For:

  • Experience with demographic and firmographic data integration.

  • Familiarity with BI tools and cloud-based data environments.

  • Advanced academic research in predictive analytics or related fields.

This compensation range is based on a full time schedule.
