Job description

Gares Senior Concierge (GSC) is seeking reliable and compassionate Drivers to support our growing senior transportation services throughout Bergen County and Passaic County, New Jersey.

Drivers provide safe, door-to-door transportation for seniors traveling to medical appointments, errands, social engagements, and personal activities.

As part of GSC’s evolving service delivery model, Drivers focus exclusively on transportation, allowing Concierge Care Associates (CCAs) to concentrate on companion care and in-home services.

This role requires strong reliability, patience, and a commitment to delivering a high-quality experience for seniors and their families.


Key Responsibilities:


Transportation Services 

  • Provide safe and reliable transportation for seniors to:
  • Provide door-to-door transportation support.
  • Assist residents entering and exiting vehicles when needed.


Customer Experience

  • Deliver a friendly, respectful, and patient experience for all clients.
  • Assist with light items such as groceries, walkers, or personal bags.
  • Ensure seniors feel comfortable and supported during travel.


Scheduling & Coordination

  • Follow transportation schedules coordinated by the GSC service delivery team.
  • Communicate promptly regarding delays, traffic issues, or schedule changes.
  • Document trips and engagement completion as required by company procedures. 

Vehicle Operations


  • Operate personal or company-approved vehicles safely and professionally.
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety.
  • Conduct basic safety checks prior to shifts.
  • Follow all state and local traffic regulations.


Required Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Minimum 3 years driving experience
  • Reliable personal vehicle (unless otherwise assigned company vehicle)
  • Ability to assist seniors entering and exiting vehicle
  • Strong punctuality and reliability
  • Professional demeanor and strong customer service skills
  • Ability to pass background and driving record checks


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with seniors
  • Experience in transportation, caregiving, or hospitality
  • Familiarity with Bergen County and Passaic County roadways and medical facilities
