Job description

Pay range: $16-$18 per hour.

This is a PRN schedule: Monday - Friday, 25 hours per week maximum.

The Transportation Assistant is responsible for providing transportation services, offering support to the Program  Director when necessary, and executing daily resident activities. The Transportation Assistant performs a specific set of tasks to fulfill the mission of the Resident Program Department. 

Qualifications 

• High school degree required; additional college experience preferred 

• Strongly preferred experience in a senior living environment and in activities (minimum two years) • Proficient in computer skills and possesses general healthcare knowledge 

• Must have a clear and insurable driving record, current driver's license, and willingness to drive a passenger van Areas of Primary Responsibility 

• Assist the Resident Program team in planning, developing, and organizing various exercises, social, recreational,  and educational events 

• Conduct transportation, including medical transportation, for residents 

• Stay informed about communities, services, and events in the area and integrate them into the activity schedule  as appropriate
