Job Title: IT Deskside Technician
Location: 555 Guthridge Court NW, Norcross, GA 30092
Hours Per Week: 40.00
Hours Per Day: 8.00
Days Per Week: 5.00
Job Summary:Client is seeking a Senior IT/OT Deskside Technician to provide onsite IT support at our Norcross office and support our upcoming office relocation to Alpharetta. This is a 9-week, full-time temporary assignment focused on desktop support, on-site user support and move-related assistance during the office transition. Candidates must possess reliable transportation.
In this role, you will: Diagnose and resolve software and hardware incidents, including operating system (Windows 11), network, mobile devices and across a range of applications while providing White-glove support.Evaluate hardware to determine if it goes to new office or be e-wasted.Lifting and moving of equipment up to 50 lbs. Tear down and setup of equipment. Assist with support of our Credit team on site at Norcross while setting up new office in Alpharetta.Set up employee workspaces, including laptops, desk phones, and conference room AV equipment. Need to be able to traverse stairs.Experience using ticketing systems (e.g. ServiceNow) to manage and prioritize incidents, service requests, and maintain accurate inventory and asset tracking.Collaborate with network management teams to troubleshoot LAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN connectivity.

Essential Knowledge Skills and Abilities: Ability to demonstrate knowledge of the practical application of systems and technology. This includes knowledge of systems architecture, hardware, operations and life cycle. - Knowledge of Operating Systems (Windows 11, Windows Server 2022, Windows Server 2025) & standard application installation (Office 365 products), SCCM, configuration and troubleshooting.Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills - Job requires partnership with all levels of the organization from personnel to executives.Stress Tolerance - Job requires dealing calmly and effectively in high stress situations, including conflict resolution. Active Listening - Attentively understand user concerns, asking clarifying questions, and accurately identifying technical issues to ensure effective problem resolution and customer satisfaction. Prioritization - Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, manage competing priorities and work independently with minimal supervision. Problem Sensitivity - Ability to recognize potential technical and operational issues, assess risks, and use critical thinking to take proactive measures to prevent production disruptions and resolve conflicts effectively.
Education:
You have: (required) Have a valid Driver's License with reliable transportation. Associate's degree from an accredited organization.Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in an enterprise desktop support role.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited organization.Expertise with Microsoft 365 suite.Experience with Conference Room Technology and Smart Whiteboards.
