Blakehurst are recruiting for hospitality focused Diet Aides to join our team! We will provide all the tools and training necessary for you to provide outstanding service to our residents. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepares and serves meals in the various dining rooms.
  • Transport hot and cold foods to and from the health center.
  • Assists with clean up and sanitation. 

Qualifications:

  • Create positive interactions with seniors.
  • Follow instructions, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic. Understand measurements.
  • Ability to plan and organize work, follow diet orders, and interpret specifications and standards.
  • Previous experience in senior living food service preferred.
  • Able to be on your feet for extended periods of time with the ability to lift up to 50lbs.

All new hires must be able to pass our preemployment screening process, which includes a fitness for duty physical, criminal background check, drug test and employment references as required by a licensed residential care facility.
