Job description

SUMMARY Overview of the position

This role is essential in supporting the smooth operation of our supply chain, ensuring timely deliveries, and effective communication between suppliers, customers, and internal teams. This is an entry-level role intended to develop the individualโ€™s skills for logistics coordination.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The following statements are intended to describe the general nature of the level of work being performed by an individual assigned to this job. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Track and manage shipments from origin to destination, resolving any issues that may arise during transit.
  • Communicate with carriers and other partners to ensure efficient delivery of shipments.
  • Assist with the management of returns, damages, or discrepancies in deliveries.
  • Book basic shipments such as domestic parcels and freight.
  • Report management and investigation of discrepancies.
  • Creating, organizing, and reporting on data through spreadsheets and other mediums.
  • Daily file-scanning, storage, and organization of physical and digital shipping documents.
  • Assist the Warehouse team as needed.
  • This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 40+ hours each week. This position may require long hours and occasional weekend work.
  • Other duties as assigned.


INTERACTION

This position will interact closely with the Logistics Coordinator, Warehouse Manager, and Sr. Manager of Logistics.


EDUCATION/YEARS EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Basic understanding of supply chain operations and transportation procedures.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
