Job description

The Transportation Administrator supports the daily operations of Ashley's Final Mile delivery network by ensuring accurate scheduling, compliance, and documentation for all transportation activities. This role acts as a key liaison between drivers, dispatch, and management to maintain service excellence and operational efficiency.
Key duties:
  • Route & Schedule Coordination: Assist with planning and assigning delivery routes to ensure timely service.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Maintain accurate DOT records, driver logs, and vehicle inspection reports.
  • Communication Hub: Act as the main contact for drivers and dispatch, resolving delivery issues promptly.
  • Reporting: Generate and distribute transportation performance and cost reports.
  • Administrative Tasks: Manage billing paperwork, fuel card tracking, and other operational documentation.
  • Safety Support: Help implement safety programs and monitor adherence to FMCSA and company standards.
