OVERVIEW
The Laborer plays a vital role in supporting the daily operations of the greenhouse. This position involves hands-on tasks such as transplanting, trimming, fertilizing, and maintaining plant health, all within a physically active greenhouse and laboratory environment. The role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and adherence to safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities

  • Fill trays with soil and prepare planting materials
  • Grade plants by size and quality
  • Transplant plants into trays with soil
  • Trim, water, and apply fertilizers to plants
  • Prepare and load plant racks for shipping
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Perform routine maintenance on greenhouse and nursery equipment
  • Glassware washing and cleaning laboratory areas.
  • Assist with culture media preparation and sterilization
  • Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently
  • Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear
  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and support additional tasks as needed to meet business goals
Qualifications and Skills
