Job Description & Summary

The Opportunity
As a Cincinnati - DAT - Intern, you will engage in a dynamic learning environment, gaining exposure to PwC's practices and methodologies within our Assurance practice. You will support teams by participating in projects and conducting research, all while observing professional work environments. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills in digital assurance, focusing on enhancing transparency, integrity, and compliance in financial reporting.
As an Intern, you will focus on learning and gaining exposure to PwC's practices. You will support teams with basic tasks, observe and learn from experienced professionals, and participate in projects that contribute to the team's success. This role emphasizes the importance of adopting a learning mindset and taking ownership of your development, while appreciating diverse perspectives and actively listening to feedback.
In this role at PwC, you will have the chance to work on a variety of assignments, each presenting different challenges and scope. Responsibilities
- Supporting audit teams by participating in the execution of digital assurance tasks
- Observing and learning from experienced auditors to gain insights into auditing methodologies
- Assisting in the evaluation of financial reporting processes to uphold transparency and compliance
- Engaging in basic research and data analysis to support audit findings and recommendations
- Applying cloud engineering principles to enhance audit processes and data management
- Participating in the development and testing of artificial intelligence platforms for audit automation
- Contributing to the assessment of compliance and governance frameworks within client organizations
- Collaborating with team members to identify and address potential risks in financial reporting
- Developing a foundational understanding of PwC's practices and methodologies through active participation
What You Must Have
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer and Information Science, Information Technology
- At least a 3.0 overall GPA
- Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment or the educational requirements for licensure as a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
- Client service intern positions are considered entry-level roles. Candidates are typically in their third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program at the time of application
