Job description

If you are a self-starter with mechanical aptitude, we may have a spot for you. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual in search of a lifetime career in the trades. Our training schedule will steer you towards success in this full-time technical position. The correct entry level candidate will be responsible for disassembling transmissions, proper cleaning and inspections. This trainee will become proficient with inventory management as well as shipping and receiving.

Job duties:

· Disassemble transmission components using hand and pneumatic tools

· Thoroughly clean parts utilizing manual cleaning procedures as well as aqueous spray cabinets

· Inspect components visually and with precise measuring devices

· Keep a clean and orderly work area at all times

· Perform any other duty as instructed by your supervisor

Qualifications:

-Some mechanic or parts experience desired

· Ability to safely and efficiently or learn to use mechanics tools and equipment

· Basic computer knowledge preferred

· Personal and professional integrity

· Must be physically able to work in a job-site environment, including lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, squatting, crouching, and reaching

· Ability to work in warehouse conditions with occasional exposure to extreme heat/cold
