What You'll Do

As an Automotive/Transmission Technician, you'll perform advanced diagnostics and repairs while maintaining the highest levels of quality and productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including transmissions, engines, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and HVAC systems
  • Perform repairs according to Ford and dealership standards
  • Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment and special service tools
  • Test-drive vehicles to verify repairs and diagnose concerns
  • Perform transmission diagnostics, repairs, rebuilds, and replacements
  • Communicate repair recommendations and additional service needs with Service Advisors
  • Provide accurate repair timelines and repair documentation
  • Complete warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications
  • Collaborate with the Parts Department to ensure timely vehicle repairs
  • Maintain productivity while delivering exceptional workmanship and customer satisfaction

Qualifications
  • 3-5+ Years of Professional Automotive Technician Experience Required
  • Transmission Technician Experience Required
  • Ford dealership experience preferred
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
  • Experience with transmission repair, overhaul, and replacement
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
  • Team-oriented with excellent communication skills
  • Customer-focused, coachable, and committed to continuous improvement
