Job description


Description Quasent Corp is looking for several mid to senior level Transmission Line Engineers for positions in CO, NV, MA, UT, SC, NC, TX, TN, MO, FLA, and CA. These roles are a combination of remote and hybrid work locations. Successful candidates will have a minimum of 3 years of experience.


Responsibilities:

  • Design of high and extra-high voltage (69-500kV) transmission lines using PLS-CADD.
  • Design of T-Line structures.
  • Voltage application design.
  • Preparation of review of specifications.
  • Work closely with client managers, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Occasional travel to client and project locations.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications 

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering.
  • Master's degree in electrical or civil engineering a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years related transmission line design experience.
  • Prior experience with PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE and AutoCAD.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in scheduling and budgeting a plus
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
