Honor Community Health is a 501c3 Federally Qualified Health Center co-located within 20 locations. Our mission is to provide for the health and wellness needs of the underserved of Oakland County through the provision of comprehensive, integrated primary, behavioral health, and dental care. Position Description
Reporting to the Program Manager, the full-time, non-exempt Call Center Assistant I plays a key role in supporting patient care by answering calls, scheduling appointments, addressing patient questions, and routing calls appropriately. They must maintain strong internal and external relationships, act as a liaison for Honor Community Health (HCH) centers and clinical teams and provide language services to non-English speaking patients. The Call Center Assistant I must consistently demonstrate professionalism and contribute to a culture of excellence, compassion, and high-quality healthcare.
What are we looking for?
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Two years of experience in front-line customer service or in a similar call center position.
  • Experience working in a healthcare setting strongly preferred
  • Strong computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Experience in using Electronic Medical Records preferred.
