Job description

City Security Services is seeking qualified officers to provide security at critical infrastructure facilities.
The Transit Security Officer is responsible for maintaining awareness, identifying potential problems, responding to incidents, and following established procedures.
Pay: $22/hr
Location: Houston, TX 77011
Schedule: Full-Time, Afternoon, 40 hours/week
  • Tuesday: 2:00pm-10:00pm
  • Wednesday: 2:00pm-10:00pm
  • Thursday: 2:00pm-10:00pm
  • Friday: 2:00pm-10:00pm
  • Saturday: 2:00pm-10:00pm

Responsibilities
  • Maintain designated security posts.
  • Conduct facility patrols.
  • Monitor facility access.
  • Observe occupants and visitors.
  • Respond to alarms.
  • Respond to security and medical emergencies.
  • Assist patrons and employees.
  • Request emergency services when appropriate.
  • Identify and report hazards.
  • Report equipment failures.
  • Monitor compliance with facility requirements.
  • Respond to unauthorized access within authorized limits.
  • Prepare reports.
  • Follow facility emergency plans.

Minimum Requirements
  • Active Level 3 certification and guard license.
  • Baton and OC certifications.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Clean driving record for three years.
  • Ability to pass PRT.
  • Ability to complete 24-hour training.
  • Basic technical proficiency.
  • Minimum age 21.
  • Required education/experience qualifications.
