At Signode, we recognize and reward talent. This role offers a competitive annual salary plus a Sales Incentive Plan and varies based on specific responsibilities and geographic location. The starting annual salary will be determined based on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and/or skillset.
Summary:
The Enterprise Account Manager is responsible for cultivating and managing strategic relationships with high-value national clients. This role focuses on driving account growth through both retention and expansion initiatives. The consultant engages with key decision-makers across all levels of customer organizations. Accounts managed are national in scope and must demonstrate potential for comprehensive product adoption.

Essential Functions:
  • Create and identify opportunities in assigned accounts and develop strategies / account plans to execute against opportunities.
  • Leads relationship and adoption activities for accounts that are landed by the Business Development Executive.
  • Meet or exceed assigned sales goals.
  • Acts as a main point of contact with customers regarding ongoing business requirements and issues.
  • Develop strong business relationships at key accounts, culminating in Joint Business Plans (JBPs) with top volume customers.
  • Penetrate all levels of assigned accounts through multiple departments (i.e. executives, buying, logistics, service and replenishment).
  • Resolves customer inquiries, problems, and complaints to maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Creates account plans and identifies expansion opportunities.
  • Produces and leads regular internal and external business reviews.
  • Coordinates local resources for pull-through of national accounts.
  • Identify local opportunities for expansion.
  • Close sales and own completion activities, including fulfillment for large expansion opportunities.
  • Positions Signode's value and seeks partnership opportunities.
  • Complete contribution reports, RFQ's, and Pricing updates on a timely basis.
  • Develop sales forecasts by account and brand.
  • Develop and submit proposals for special trade programs at selected accounts as necessary.
  • Maintain up-to-date sales opportunities and customer records in CRM.
  • Work closely with Operations, Product Management, AR team, and Finance teams.
  • Participate in Training & Development opportunities in order to continually improve, upgrade performance, experience career development and advancement.
  • Assist the A/R department collecting past due balances and ensure your accounts are in good standing.

Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Finance or similar field.
Experience:
  • 5+ years in Sales. At least 3 year supporting National level customers.
  • Travel overnight - up to 50%.
  • Knowledge of Signode's products and applications to sell solutions that meet customer's needs.
  • Strong manufacturing aptitude.
  • Ability to use a CRM and read dashboards on PowerBi, with general MS Office proficiency.
  • Strong technology skills with social media knowledge.
