Warehouse Admin


Position Summary: This position will be responsible for administration duties related to invoice processing, carrier bill of lading generation, stock receipt process, bin location changes, etc.


Essential Functions:

ï‚· Generate invoices for products shipped.

ï‚· Review Bill of Lading information to ensure accuracy. Experience with bills of lading, commercial invoicing, packing lists, and other documents required for each shipment.

ï‚· Determine method of shipment, shipping charges and schedule pick-ups with freight carriers per customer's specifications.

ï‚· Compares cost and transit times from different carriers & chooses the most affordable/reliable carrier. Consolidating freight.

ï‚· Provide our carriers with the necessary information and paperwork to pick up these orders.

ï‚· System knowledge with internal and external operating systems such as TMS, Supplier portals.

ï‚· Communicates with Sales regarding changes or delays in schedules.

ï‚· Communicate with freight carriers to track delivery and resolve issues.

ï‚· Proof all data and make any necessary corrections.

ï‚· Perform other general warehouse duties and responsibilities as required. Minimum Qualifications:

ï‚· 2-year freight / logistic experience is necessary

ï‚· High School Diploma or equivalent required

ï‚· Proficient in Transportation Management Systems and LTL Shipments

ï‚· Strong organizational skills; able to manage priorities and workflow

ï‚· Ability to work independently and as a member of a team

 Intermediate to advanced computer skills and knowledge of the internet, email, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
