JOB TITLE: INVENTORY ANALYST/SALES AND PRODUCTION COORDINATOR

MUST CURRENTLY LIVE IN SAN ANTONIO OR SURROUNDING AREAS

MUST HAVE VALID WORK AUTHORIZATION

 BUSINESS PROFILE

Alamo Transformer Supply Company (ATSCO) is a Texas owned and operated company started in 1963. ATSCO is strategically positioned with two locations, San Antonio and Houston. The San Antonio facility focuses on the Distribution Transformer repair, rewinding and material recycling. The Houston facility focuses on large power system repairs. The two locations allow ATSCO to service both utility/Co-Ops and the Industrial/petrochemical customer's needs. This posting is for the San Antonio facility located near Rittiman and 410.

JOB SUMMARY: 

This role will serve as a pivot person between the sales team and production team. The role will provide a variety of  support services which will include the input of sales orders into the ERP system as well as the development and execution of an effective sales filing system and inventory control. The coordinator will work directly with team management to ensure that all the administrative and support functions of the are operating effectively. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain active client & inventory files
  • Input sales orders into Global Shop (ERP system)
  • Assist production and sales in inventory management and process improvement where needed
  • Inventory Control


COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

  • must have proficiency in MS Office/Excel/Word
  • must have strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
  • must have strong attention to detail
  • ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
  • must be able to communicate professionally with multiple personality types
  • must be a good self-manager, and work well with limited supervision

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • 2 years Warehouse or inventory management experience is required
  • 2 years inside sales or sales support is preferred, but not required
  • experience using Global Shop or other ERP system is helpful

EDUCATION REQUIRED: High School Diploma

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, frequently
  • ability to stand and walk up to 75% of the time
  • ability to work in all weather conditions (indoors, outdoors in cold/hot/rain/sun)
  • ability to kneel, squat, bend frequently able to sit at desk and use computer

JOB TYPE & PAY

  • Starting pay $21+ or dependent on experience
  • Full-time position, M-F 7 am-4pm
