  • Facilitate group therapy sessions, including support groups and psychoeducational workshops, to foster community, share coping skills, and provide social support among clients facing similar challenges.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, setting measurable goals in collaboration with clients that align with their aspirations and needs, and regularly review progress to make necessary adjustments.

  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, peer support specialists, and other health care professionals, to ensure cohesive, comprehensive care pathways for clients.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily involve adults and adolescents presenting with a range of mental health challenges. Clients typically seek help for various issues, including but not limited to depression, anxiety disorders, trauma, relationship concerns, and addiction struggles. As a counselor, you will be at the forefront of empowering clients to recognize their strengths and navigate their mental health journeys.

Qualifications
  • A master's or doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, or a closely related field from an accredited program.
  • Valid licensure as a mental health counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida, as well as compliance with ongoing State Board requirements.
  • A minimum of three years of supervised clinical experience, which ideally includes work with a diverse client population.
  • Proven interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to establish a rapport with clients and foster a trusting therapeutic relationship.
  • Proficient in conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and interpreting diagnostic criteria.
Preferred Experience
  • Additional certifications or specialized training in therapeutic modalities such as trauma-informed care, addiction counseling, or family therapy will be considered an asset.
  • Experience working with diverse populations and an understanding of cultural competency in mental health care.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to document client interactions and maintain accurate treatment records will be beneficial.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this role ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to competitive pay, we offer an attractive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, flexible scheduling, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development to support your growth and licensure maintenance.
