DuPont is seeking an Innovation Transformation Scientist/Engineer to drive the evolution of how innovation is executed across our global Innovation organization.

This highly visible individual contributor role sits at the intersection of innovation, digital transformation, AI adoption, and organizational effectiveness. You will partner with senior business, technical, and functional leaders to accelerate adoption of new capabilities, modernize innovation processes and operating models, and enable transformational change that improves innovation productivity, speed-to-market, and growth outcomes.

As a key member of the Innovation Excellence team, you will help define and scale the practices, capabilities, and behaviors needed to enable the next generation of innovation at DuPont. This is a unique opportunity to influence global R&D initiatives, work directly with senior leaders, and shape how innovation is delivered across a global organization.

What You'll Do

  • Lead transformation initiatives that improve how innovation is planned, executed, and scaled across R&D and innovation organizations.
  • Drive adoption of digital, data, analytics, AI-enabled, and process capabilities that enhance innovation effectiveness and business outcomes.
  • Partner with business, technical, and functional leaders to implement new operating models, governance approaches, innovation processes, and ways of working.
  • Influence and align stakeholders across a complex global organization to accelerate organizational readiness, capability development, and sustainable adoption.
  • Design and execute transformation strategies including stakeholder engagement, communications, learning, leadership alignment, and adoption planning.
  • Build and enable change champion networks and leadership communities that reinforce new behaviors and sustain momentum.
  • Establish metrics and feedback mechanisms to measure adoption, capability maturity, value realization, and transformation impact.
  • Identify organizational barriers and develop practical solutions that improve engagement, accelerate implementation, and increase business value.
  • Coach leaders and project teams to successfully lead transformation efforts while building lasting organizational capability.
  • Capture, scale, and institutionalize best practices that improve innovation productivity and operational excellence across the enterprise.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or a related technical discipline, with experience in innovation, R&D, or technology-driven environments.
  • 5+ years of experience leading digital, innovation, or business transformation initiatives, with demonstrated success driving enterprise-wide or cross-functional change within large, matrixed organizations.
  • Proven ability to influence senior leaders and align diverse stakeholder groups without direct authority, leveraging strong communication, facilitation, consulting, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong understanding of organizational change, transformation, and adoption methodologies, with experience developing and executing strategies that drive measurable capability growth, adoption, and business performance improvements.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data, metrics, and insights to guide decisions, measure impact, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting R&D, engineering, product development, innovation, or other technology-intensive organizations, with an understanding of how technical work is translated into business value.
  • Experience implementing AI, advanced analytics, digital, portfolio management, or knowledge management capabilities to improve innovation effectiveness, productivity, or decision-making.
  • Demonstrated success connecting transformation initiatives to measurable business outcomes, including growth, innovation productivity, speed-to-market, operational performance, or capability development.
