Join the Transdev team in New Carrollton, MD! We’re hiring a part-time Reservationist/Customer Service Representative to work 12:30 PM – 4:30 PM. In this role, you’ll assist customers by scheduling transportation and providing excellent service. We’re seeking friendly, dependable people who take pride in safety and helping others.

CBA Position:

Position Subject to Collective Bargaining Agreement:

• $21.00 - $36.60 (Union Collective Bargaining Agreement Pay Scale)
• Starting pay $21.00 with progression to $36.60 over 7 years.

Benefits include:

• Paid Sick Leave: Part-time employees may be eligible for 40 hours yearly based on hours worked.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answer customer calls and input ride information using a computerized scheduling system.
• Enter new customer information and changes into the system.
• Data entry into spreadsheets and databases.
• Communicate late vehicle service and verifying “No Shows” with customers.
• Resolve service-related complaints.
• Create daily route maps of the reservations for the drivers.
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years reservationist or customer service experience.
• Computer literate
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
• Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.

Physical Requirements:

The essential functions of this position require the ability to:

• Work is accomplished indoors in air conditioned or well-ventilated facilities
• Sit, type, and look at a computer for extended periods (up to 6–9 hours per day)
• Must be able to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and in written correspondence
• Work is accomplished in an office or in a cubicle space equipped with a telephone and computer
• Push and pull objects up to 50 pounds, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level
