Position Overview: KSA Integration is seeking a Senior Logistics Subject Matter Expert – Joint Integration / Lean Six Sigma to support the HQMC I&L LP Futures (LPOV) Expeditionary Logistics (EXLOG) Support contract (26F1009). This role provides expert-level logistics process improvement, joint integration analysis, and organizational efficiency expertise applying Lean Six Sigma methodologies to optimize Marine Corps expeditionary logistics systems and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies to analyze, map, and optimize Marine Corps logistics processes, identifying inefficiencies and developing improvement recommendations
  • Lead and support joint logistics integration efforts, ensuring Marine Corps logistics capabilities are synchronized with joint force requirements and DoD logistics enterprise standards
  • Conduct process analysis and capability assessments across logistics functional areas, including supply, maintenance, transportation, and distribution in support of expeditionary operations
  • Develop and present data-driven improvement recommendations to senior Marine Corps leadership, including process maps, metrics dashboards, and implementation roadmaps
  • Support development of logistics SOPs, policy revisions, and implementation guidance aligned with joint logistics doctrine and Marine Corps operational requirements
  • Coordinate with joint logistics organizations including Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) and Transportation Command (TRANSCOM) to integrate Marine Corps logistics requirements
  • Lead working groups focused on logistics process improvement and joint integration, facilitating stakeholder engagement and consensus building
  • Develop performance metrics and measurement frameworks to assess logistics process effectiveness and track improvement initiatives
  • Prepare briefings, assessments, and technical reports documenting logistics process improvement findings for senior military leadership
  • Coordinate with the Program Manager and government COR to ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and contractual requirements
Requirements:

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (logistics, business, engineering, operations management, or related discipline).
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in military logistics, joint operations, or process improvement functions.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification (required).
  • Demonstrated experience with joint logistics integration at the operational or strategic level.
  • Strong understanding of Marine Corps logistics systems, joint logistics doctrine, and DoD supply chain processes.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
  • Strong analytical and data management skills with experience developing performance measurement frameworks.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with experience presenting to senior military and civilian leadership.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint).

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Master's Degree in logistics management, business, engineering, or related field.
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance.
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
  • Experience supporting HQMC I&L, Joint Staff (J4), or TRANSCOM logistics process improvement initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Global Combat Support System – Marine Corps (GCSS-MC) or similar logistics IT systems.
  • PMP certification.
  • Experience with DoD Performance-Based Logistics (PBL) or Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) programs.
